Ant-Social Behaviour: Park Street Rec, Heanor

Good afternoon,

Recently, the local team have become aware of ASB taking place on the Park Street Rec in Heanor.

We have received reports that a group of youths have been setting small fires on the park and causing concerns to local residents. Since receiving these reports, together as team we have been working to prevent the park from becoming a new place for ASB to take place.

We will be doing this by adding more targeted patrols to the area between the times we believe the group are congregating. By doing this, we aim to deter any youths from acting in a dangerous and careless manner in the community. We have also linked in with the local Derbyshire Fire Service Community Officer. By working together the aim is to prevent crime and keep people safe.

If anybody, young or old is found to committing ASB or criminal activity we will endeavour to bring them to justice to help keep people and the wider community safe.

That goes for anywhere in the community, if you see something that doesn't look right, please do report this to Police.
